Vladimir is a molecular microbiologist with more than 20 years of experience. After completing his PhD studies at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, he continued his career as a member of several renowned research groups, addressing fundamental questions such as: how bacteria move, how they sense environmental signals or how they interact with their hosts? He authored and co-authored numerous highly-cited scientific publications and contributed to various international and interdisciplinary projects, as a scientific expert and as project manager. During the course of his career, Vladimir became progressively engaged in the rapidly-growing microbiome research, culminating by the establishment of his own company Microbiome Power, dedicated exclusively to the communication and consulting in this field.
