Piuli is a finance professional who recently migrated to Frankfurt. She enjoys long walks, dark humor, travels that surprise and shock, and reading fiction. Although professionally trained in Bharatnatyam for over fifteen years, she now prefers the informality of dancing at friends’ weddings.
She spent three months as a caregiver to her brother who was diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called T-ALL (T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) in April 2021. She chose to contribute to this book in the hope of finding closure as well as to share her story with other caregivers who may find themselves in the same boat.
