A book dedicated to all climate deniers who dismiss climate change.
Our planet is transforming due to human activities and the ensuing emissions. These emissions, primarily carbon dioxide and methane, act like a blanket wrapped around the earth, trapping the sun's heat and raising the planet's temperature. And this blanket is getting thicker by the day. The Earth is now 1.1°C warmer than it was in the late 1800s, and if nothing is done about it, we are looking at a planet that is 3°C warmer by 2100 —enough to make large parts of the planet uninhabitable.
This book brings the voices and works of climate activists, speakers, policy makers, researchers and climate influencers to the general readers. It aims to breaks biases around climate change and provide psychological, sociological and economical reasons behind why are we hardwired to dismiss our changing planet.

Introduction to the Book
Let's call facts: Climate Change is real!
World leaders have affirmed that our planet is 1.1°C warmer than pre-industrial levels. 1.1°C may sound like a small number, but given how massive the Earth is, it takes an insane amount of energy to heat something that big by even 1°C. Now this energy is manifesting in various forms: storms, hurricanes, heat waves, floods — in other words, climate change.
Even if countries meet the commitments made in the 2015 Paris Agreement, we are heading for a world more than 3°C warmer by 2100: a largely uninhabitable planet. After all these facts, commitments, campaigns and Greta Thunberg's activism, why the cavalier attitude?
This book attempts to break this complacency of climate denial and bring the reality of climate change to a general reader. The book will showcase the psychology of climate denial and reluctance towards scientific temper while subtly exposing sociological and economical reasons behind why the matters of climate change don't take precedence in our daily lives.
The book will also present the real-life impact of climate change, from food shortages to rivers changing their course and drying up. It communicates the need to face climate change to all climate deniers and soundly reasons to bring change.
Let's face it: This book will be an essential read for each individual.
