About the Authors

Saumita Banerjee

India

An entrepreneur and technology enthusiast, Saumita started LetsAuthor in 2019, initiating a new era in the world of writing books. During her 8-year stint at NineSigma, she gained insights into Open Innovation and got to meet a number of entrepreneurs who were making change happen. These experiences collectively inspired her to enter the entrepreneurial world, adapt the practise of Open Innovation into an unrelated area of book writing, and introduce the concept of Open Authoring. This book is a proof-of-concept project for her to demonstrate that Open Authoring works and to illustrate the magic of smartly utilizing the collective wisdom of intellectuals. For this book, she’s worn multiple hats: apart from leading the writing of this book, she co-ordinated all activities that made this book happen: positioning, structuring and re-structuring, co-ordinating co-author contributions, publishing, marketing, and so on. She actively practises the ideas and knowledge shared in this book to grow her own venture.
